Who are we?

Friends of Douthat State Park supports the park by helping to provide funding for projects and facilities. We collaborate with organizations and businesses to promote conservation efforts. We advocate for the park at local and state levels, promoting its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and youth involvement. Volunteers assist with trail maintenance, beautification projects, and events like festivals and workshops. We also educate the public on the park’s environmental significance through interpretive events and outreach programs.
